Maybe I forgot to mention that this is a web agent... and as I've always understood it, web agents always run on the server with the agent signer permissions. If the "Run as web user" option is checked, then It will run with the currently logged user permissions.
But that's not my point... I don't have a problem with the code inside the agent accessing something restricted... I want this agent to be accessed by a specific ACL Role only.
I could use the "Run on behalf of" option if I wanted the agent to run with different user permissions than the agent signer, which is not what I want to do.
My original post explained what I wanted to achieve... which is give access to this agent to a specific ACL Role while giving the least amount of rights possible. Unfortunately, I have to give them Reader access, which is too much. But the No Access with the Read Public doesn't work, and I don't understand why.
Thanks for your help
